Jon is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of consulting experience, where he previously led the UK Management Consultancy division (part of the ManCo) and is now the Global Head of Alpha’s Strategy and Deals division. He has specialised in strategy setting and execution of large-scale transformation initiatives within global organisations. His work encompasses the entire asset management value chain, with extensive experience in front office, technology, operational, and outsourcing programmes for diverse clients.
With a strong background in advisory and delivery roles, Jon excels in early-stage strategy development – including Vision, Target Operating Model (TOM), and Business Case formulation – through the effective execution and assurance of project delivery. Recognised as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by his clients, he understands the challenges faced by asset managers across various business lines and is adept at engaging senior leadership teams.
Jon holds a First Class MMath degree.
Rob leads our deal advisory work and has supported clients on over 100 transactions. He often works on transactions which will result in a significant change to the ongoing business, either as a result of an integration and delivery of synergies or as part of a divestiture and carve out.
Rob’s clients span Asset & Wealth Management, Insurance and FinTech. He works with a broad base of international clients who invest across multiple sectors both domestically in the UK and internationally.
Rob has over 13 years financial services experience. Prior to joining Alpha, Rob was part of the PwC Transaction Services team (6 years in London and 2 years in Hong Kong) and acted as the synergy reporting accountant (QFBS) on four Class 1 transactions.
Jack is a Senior Partner in Alpha FMC’s U.S. Strategy & Deals team, with deep expertise in commercial due diligence for private equity and corporate investors. With over 30 years of experience, he has led hundreds of buy-side and sell-side engagements across Financial Services, FinTech, and B2B services. His work is known for combining strategic insight with practical deal-side judgment.
Chris focuses on strategy for private equity clients and portfolio companies (such as commercial due diligence, value creation and strategic support). He has worked on a range of engagements across financial services including Asset and Wealth Management; Capital Markets and Insurance. His work covers market participants as well as technology and services to those institutions.
Chris joined Alpha from EY-Parthenon and prior to that, he was at strategy house Oliver Wyman for c.8 years as part of the Corporate and Institutional Banking team.
Tom is a Partner with extensive experience advising financial institutions on transactions both pre-deal and post-deal. He has advised on 30+ transactions, both buy-side and sell-side, including both domestic deals in the UK and cross-border deals across Europe, US and APAC. His engagements cover Commercial, Operations / IT due diligence and integration / separation strategy, planning and execution. Tom joined from the EY-Parthenon Strategy & Transactions team, where he spent 6 years.
