A consortium of private equity firms was considering the acquisition of the UK’s largest Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) investment platform. Alpha was engaged to provide comprehensive Technology Due Diligence, Operations Due Diligence, and Value Creation Planning (VCP) for the consortium.

Key activities included:

  • A detailed review of the platform’s existing technology architecture and operating model functions, providing critical insights to inform the consortium’s Value Creation Planning
  • Analysis of the platform’s ongoing Transformation program, with a deep dive into the future cost structure of the business
  • A function-by-function review to identify potential areas for cost savings
  • Development of a Value Creation Plan, including a detailed VCP roadmap, a comprehensive transformation plan and guiding principles, and an analysis of key dependencies to unlock synergies and achieve cost savings
