Divestiture Support and Delivery

Background & What Alpha Did:

A global asset management client looking to divest a piece of its business engaged Alpha to provide portfolio and programme management support to facilitate a smooth technology separation.

Key activities included:

• Mobilising and leading a Transitional Service Agreement (TSA) working group, bringing together senior representatives across legal, IT and operations
• Delivering oversight and governance control for a substantial portfolio of 15+ sub-programmes, including direct management of an IT outsourcing business unit and cloud migration programme

The project ensured successful completion of the de-merger transaction; including agreement of the front-end and back-end schedules across entities for a range of IT and operational services.
